Care Instructions

Depending on the materials of the artwork will depend on how you care for it. Generally wall decor pieces don’t need much. Dust them off once in a while and they will be fine.

Dreamcatchers - I suggest not hanging in direct sunlight as colors may fade. For tassels simply run your fingers through to detangle. If your piece has feathers be sure not to pull too hard, we don't want them to break.

Jewelry - My metal pieces are all stainless steel. If they start to discolor you can simply use warm water and dish soap with an old soft toothbrush. Be mindful not to brush too hard or it might scratch your piece. This is especially helpful for any piece with diffuser beads, as the oils used on the beads may tarnish the metal slightly. Once you clean it off it will be good as new. If your piece has gemstones they can also be cleansed in water or you can use another method of cleansing which can be found below.

Suede - All faux suede pieces are sprayed with a suede protector. Feel free to spray your own protector on it as well for lasting care of your faux suede piece. These items should not be submerged in water. If you submerge in water often, they will stretch and possibly become discolored. They can be spot cleaned yet I suggest NOT to use a brush as it might add a brushed effect to the faux suede. If your piece has metal components I encourage you to see above care instructions for jewelry.

Resin - Any resin pieces may be washed with soap and water. Resin jewelry specifically is polished with Flitz Polish. For lasting beauty and durability feel free to polish your resin jewelry again after cleaning.

Altar Items - Any items purchased for your altar I suggest energetically cleansing them before bringing them into your space. This can be said for any piece purchased from me but especially the altar items. These will be part of your sacred space and you don’t want any energetic residue from the mailing process. See cleansing suggestions below.

Revival Collection - Pieces in my Revival Collection are made from secondhand materials. I make sure to cleanse all pieces once they are complete. They are all made with durability as the end goal yet I ask that you treat them like any other pieces of artwork, with love and care. Cleansing

Cleansing is a great practice to get into, not just for your sacred pieces but any new items you bring into your home. Especially if you purchase from thrift stores. To cleanse items it depends on the material and purpose. As a general fail safe you can leave any item on a windowsill overnight. The moonlight will cleanse your item’s energy. This can be done as soon as you receive your item or if you feel like something is off and want to “energetically reset” it. Below are some more cleansing options. If you’d like to read more in depth click here.

  • Smoke

  • Water

  • Salt

  • Sun or Moon

  • Breath

Incense smoke or sage spray are good. You can wave your item back and forth through the smoke or spray. When using spray make sure not to soak item, just give a little spritz. If you are sensitive to smokes or sprays
