Photography has always been my passion. I started off with black and white film and it didn't take long for me to realize this would be my first love. While in school I tried out color film as well as digital which gave me the skills to do restorations of old or damaged photographs. I eventually tried out experimental techniques that taught me to think outside of the box. Whether it be making photo transfers or using different types of equipment to get an interesting result. Either way I try to create pieces of art that everyone can enjoy while also thinking "how did she do that?"
I have a BFA from Molloy College. During my time there I really grew as an artist. My choice of media expanded to more than just photography. I now work with paint, clay, fibers, oil pastels and other mixed media.
If you're interested in purchasing some of my work, you can find me on Etsy. You can also contact me at NicoleJoliada@gmail.com or go to my connect page.
